Setting System Clocks

British Summer Time is from 1 am (GMT) on the last Sunday in March to 2 am (BST) on the last Sunday in October. The system clock on your company's telephone system should be reset to match as soon as possible after the 'official' change.

For 'setting the clocks forward' in March, the change involves setting the clock 1 hour ahead, officially when the clock is at 1 am it should be set to 2 am. For 'setting the clocks back' in October, the change involves setting the clock back 1 hour, officially when the clock is at 2 am it should be set to 1 am.

Most system clocks can be changed from a designated Digital Key handset connected to the system, and some from any handset. The Avaya IP Office series should reset themselves automatically, but instructions are included for manual adjustment. Our full list of maintained systems is below. Please click on the appropriate system to be send to the correct instruction page.
