Network Planning

A communications system is by definition part of a larger network. How your system integrates into that larger network is just as important as what it can do for you. When it comes to voice or data, you need to connect to your customers as painlessly as possible.

Digitel provide a complete planning service to advise you on the best line types to match your business needs. We can select from a number of major suppliers, BT Openreach, TalkTalk, Ubiquiti, and find you the absolute best deals.

We can also advise you whether you need Direct Dial In (DDI) numbers or non-geographic numbers to make it as easy as possible for your customers to reach you.

Digitel Europe and it's sister company, Unitel have developed close corporate relationships with various suppliers, ensuring we can offer the best deals. These include:

  • BT Openreach - Tier 1 supplier of fibre, lines and numbering
  • Vodaphone - Worldwide provider of mobile telecommunications.
  • Talk Talk - Supplier of both next generation broadband and mobile services
  • O2 Mobile - Mobile phone and mobile broadband supplier.

We have a range of connection options to create a custom solution for any purpose:

  • Analogue lines - Basic voice connectivity
  • Integrated Digital Services Network (ISDN) - Provides either 2 or 30 digital voice channels pre line with Direct Dial In (DDI) and (Caller Line Identity (CLI)
  • Fibre Broadband - Super-fast data connectivity for Voice Over IP (VoIP) via SIP Trunks and high speed networking of up to 80Mbps.
  • Ethernet First Mile (EFM) - A synchronous connection for VoIP and data with up to 100 Mbps upload/download speed and 1:1 contention.

Our team has many man-years (and woman-years) of experience in tailoring network plans to our customers needs. We can advise you on the advantages of non-geographic numbers versus local presence and various features such as advanced call stats, lost business reports and hosted services.

We can also optimise your network access from a cost point of view, finding the least expensive way of providing you with the services you need to run your business, and delivering it via a single bill.
